Greil Marcus at the Booksmith

Boston-area readers take note--Greil Marcus, culture critic extraordinaire whose HUP books include Lipstick Traces: A Secret History of the Twentieth Century, The Dustbin of History, Dead Elvis: A Chronicle of a Cultural Obsession, In the Fascist Bathroom: Punk in Pop Music, 1977-1992, and the forthcoming (2009) A New Literary History of America (he's the co-editor), will read from his latest book The Shape of Things to Come: Prophecy and the American Voice at the Brookline Booksmith on Thursday December 6 at 7pm.
