Over at the Hoover Institution, Robert Service and Christopher Hitchens have begun a discussion of Bolshevik revolutionary Leon Trotsky. Service is a senior fellow at the Hoover and the author of of seven books with Harvard Press, including Lenin, Stalin and the forthcoming Trotsky.
In this chat, the two men talk--and sometimes disagree--about the beginnings, education, exile and legacy of the man Service calls "one of the half-dozen outstanding Marxist revolutionaries." Parts 1 and 2 are up now, with three more to come.
