Protest is back

TroameAlex Beam reports on the revival of the '60s radical group Students for a Democratic Society in today's Boston Globe. The new SDS, which has established chapters at 126 colleges, aims to recapture the spirit of the early '60s SDS, before the organization descended into factionalism and sprouted violent offshoots like the Weathermen.

HUP's newly-released American Protest Literature should be required reading for anyone looking to start their own chapter, but you don't have to be a radical to appreciate the importance of this collection of 113 seminal documents covering the whole of American history, from the revolutionary period right up to the present day. Take a look at the table of contents to get a feel for what's included.
